Foto Friday!!! Late As usual.

This week over at Renaissance, the theme was A Picture that reminds you of a childhood memory. Though this is not the best picture, it does fit the theme. Nothing like eating an ice cream on the front porch on a hot day!

Foto Friday!!

Here are two I chose for this week's theme of Sun Flare! The 1st one isn't a sun flare picture, but it is my favorite from this week. The second one is a sun flare, just not from this week. I was so excited about this challenge. I love sun flare in pictures! I have missed Foto Friday so much the past few weeks. With school starting back we've been crazy with homeschool stuff!

Foto Friday!!! My favorite day!

This week over at Renaissance the challenge was sunset. I did not get a chance to do this as a sunset usually occurs when I am bathing and putting little ones to bed. So, I have an 8 month old and a 3 year survior to share with you today. I have been so busy launching this website in the last week. I still have so much work to do on it but it will come. Very Slowly!

And my little survivor. Sunday will be her 3rd anniversary of a bone marrow transplant! God has blessed us with this remarkable child and testimony!



Next week is Fresh Fruit. We'll see what I can come up with.

Foto Friday ~ Books~

My favorite day of the week is here again. I didn't participate the past 2 Fridays because we were camping. This week over at Renaissance the challenge is BOOKS! This is a picture of my daughter in her favorite spot doing her favorite thing. She loves to sit under the shade trees in the yard and read. She reads all the time. So I took a quick snapshot of her. Foto Friday Challenge ~ Clouds ~

This weeks challenge over at Renaissance the Foto Challenge was clouds. This was a tough challenge! I did manage to get a few pictures. This week has been crazy with so many other stuff going on. I did my first newborn photoshoot (that wasn't my own.) this week. She was such a sweetie! Love it! So here are my attempts at clouds! Enjoy

Foto Friday ~ Shoes~

This weeks challenge was Favorite Shoes. My favorite shoes are my dirty, worn out Nike's. So no picture of those. Instead I give you my favorite Sunday summer shoes. I wear these alot in the summer because they match everything and are comfy to wear.

I don't know how wedding photographers do this. Taking pics of shoe alone is not so easy. But it was a challenge and fun! See ya next week for HANDS!! I got lots of those around here!

Photo Friday ~~~ Self Portrait~~~

THis is a tough challenge.I HATE taking my picture. For ANY reason. Why do you think I like to be behind the camera!!

This first one is a reflection of me shooting at a Photography class I took. Basically we walked around and interesting part of town and took random pictures. It was a nice escape from the kiddos . I know all of you WANT these shoes! They are (um..) something ;)@


Ok, that really wasn't a self portrait. So, GULP. Here is a real one..........................................








Let me just say how tough this was. My wireless clicker thing broke. So just imagine me placing a baby doll on my bed, going back to camera, setting the focus on baby dolls head, setting the self timer, running back to bed, throwing baby off bed, laying just so and then run back to camera to see picture. I only had to do it 20 or so times to get it right. No need to do my workout today. It's done!!!

Foto Friday!!

This week I decided not to go with the weekly theme on Foto Friday. The theme was Beauty in the Ugly. I had several good ideas. But that is where it ended. All the pictures I took looked ugly. Instead I took my baby's 6 month pictures. I cannot believe he is that old already. Here are just a few from this week. Thank you for looking!

Foto Friday Friends

This week for Foto Friday the theme is Friends. I decided to share 2 from a quick photoshoot at home.

This first one is my son who is 7 and babe. I just know they will be lifelong friends. As I hope all my children are.

This one is babe and one of our new Auracana chicks. He enjoyed this so much. I didn't enjoy the chick pooping on everything. My kids thought it was fun having the chicks in the house for a minute.

Foto Friday ~ Our Week~

This week the photo challenge was "A Glimpse into Your Easter". Well as always I had the best intentions. My oldest, passed out Sunday morning in Sunday school. So we spent our Easter in the ER. (No pictures). I am going to have a do over tomorrow so I can get my annual, everyone matches and is so cute picture! So the only pictures I took this week were today at the kids music recital. I have one of my oldest playing the violin and my 2nd oldest with her flute. There are none of her actually playing it because the girl next to her was blocking my daughter from my view.

Foto Friday, Late yet again!!!

This week's theme was white. So, I took my white, little, Easter bunny and took a few quick shots. My Mom has again threatened to take away my crochet hooks and yarn. She thinks I have a problem with it. Ha, It's not a problem, I just NEED my yarn and fun hats for baby. Tell me I"m not the only one!

Foto Friday a little late!

It's been a couple of weeks since I participated in Foto Friday. It's been crazy around here. This week's theme was GREEN. Well, with the week we've had I could not get creative. Here is one reason why.....

I am sure you are not "green" with envy. We had the chicken pox this week. 4 out of 7 had them. This is 3 year old. She was the worst.

We also had 2 birthdays this week!Here is my 9 year old. Celebrating her 2nd birthday after having a bone marrow transplant. We are so thankful to have her here and to celebrate her birth. What a joy she is.
You can see a little green on the ground. It was 81 degrees here today! Lovely weather.
