I Heart Faces Challenge

This week over at I Heart Faces is beach week. We have not been to the beach much so this was hard for me. I did find a cute picture of one of my cuties at a VERY COLD beach in Massachusetts. This was taken on July 5th of 2009. I kid you not it was like 65 degrees out there. The wind was crazy. She was a trooper though and tried to smile. I love the expression on her face. We were celebrating her one year anniversary of her bone marrow transplant by visiting family in the Boston area. Enjoy! Thanks for looking.

I Heart Faces Challenge

This week's challenge over at I Heart Faces is Surprise. I had a hard time choosing because we had such a full week with many good pictures. I chose this one because it was a surprise to me when I got home and saw the pictures. We were at the aquarium, and I was taking a pic of this huge fish. When I downloaded the pictures, I noticed my daughters face in the reflection of the tank. She was looking at a shark that looked like it had a chainsaw attached to it. He was big. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. If you want to see more fun pictures go over to IHeartFaces.com. Thanks for looking!

Changes in our house!

Lots of changes going on here. We are starting the Feingold program. It is a diet to help with ADD/ADHD. We have several hyper, and behavioral problems. I am so tired of it. So, we are giving this a shot for the next 6 weeks. I hope to see some improvement before the baby gets here.

Also, we are repainting the kitchen!!! I am so glad to see the light pink and hunter green and HUGE flowery wall border go! I'll post pictures as we redo it.

I'll plan to update weekly on the diet progress.

Favorites

Foto Friday Challenge

Favorites! That's this weeks theme for Foto Friday! Check it out at http://www.zeahrenaissance.blogspot.com/

#1 My 6 year old. We were at a children's museum in Boston, MA. They had a face painting booth set up for the kids to do it yourself. Lots of fun.
#2 My 18 month old as a newborn.

#3 My survivor. Just as her hair was coming in nicely after the chemo. She was so proud of her new hair!

#4 4 of my kiddos being sweet. We were walking in the "road" and I told them to hold hands in the road. It was so cute I had to snap a picture.

I hope you enjoyed some of my favorites. I hate that this is the last Foto Friday. I will miss it. I enjoyed the few challenges I was able to participate in. Thanks Rebecca for hosting this! Enjoy your break!

I Heart Faces Challenge

I found another photo challenge. It is called I Heart Faces. They have a weekly challenge. I love this because I am still learning about photography and my camera and I need all the help I can get. They have some great info on their site too. So, this weeks theme is "Play". Here is my 2 year old doing what all my kids love to do most, play with Precious, our outdoor kitty.
Go to iheartfaces.blogspot.com for more information on this challenge or for lots of great photography stuff.

My kids make me Happy!!!

Foto Friday Challenge

It's Friday! This week's Foto Friday Challenge at http://www.zeahrenaissance.blogspot.com/ is Happy! I had all sorts of creative ideas for this one. Instead, my kids, all 6, came down with the spots and fevers. Blaise had a 104 temp yesterday. It has been a LONG week. I did manage to get a few shots of the kids this week. They are what makes me Happy! I hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by and checking out my photos!

Happy to be a SURVIVOR! Blair survived a bone marrow transplant almost 2 years ago. She had a rare blood disease called HLH (
www.histio.org for more info). It affects 1 in 1.2 million children a year. She's 8 now.

My oldest. He just turned 16!

My baby. He is 18 months.

My 2 year old. She is the most photogenic child. And loves to have her picture taken. She makes it so easy!
My 4 year old. She smiles all the time till the camera come out.

My 6 year old. The boy can charm a snake with his smile. He has the prettiest eyes and eyelashes. All the girls love him.

Foto Friday Challenge

Foto Friday Challenge

This was a tough one. By the time the sun goes down it is so far behind trees, you can do anything. And I was not going to traipse around town at the kids' bedtime to get a good shot! So my sad indoor attempt at a sillohette.

My upside down monkey.
Flip Flop girl!
Diva Girl
My attempt at creativity! Wiggly 6 yo boy wouldn't hold still!
Last One!

Foto Friday Challenge

Foto Friday Challenge

I decided to try and do this photo challenge from . The theme was Architecture. We don't travel much so this was a tough one. I found a few things from the archives. Hope this counts.

The Whistle Stop Cafe (Home of the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes")

An outhouse in the middle on no where. It was in a HUGE field with nothing around it. I'd hate to go out there in the middle of the night!
